¿Dónde? Where is the new theater?
The new Pregones Theater is conveniently located at 575 Walton Avenue, between 149th and 150th Streets in The South Bronx, just south of Yankee Stadium. Always a hub of cultural activity, this area is attracting a new wave of visitors and has emerged as one of New York City's hotspots for diversity and creative expression. Part of a growing Bronx Cultural Renaissance, the new Pregones Theater is a feature attraction in this already vibrant cultural destination!

Pregones Theater is best known for creating plays with dynamic visual and rhythmic character, for mining connections between theater and popular culture, and for developing lasting forms of audience participation. In 25 years of activity, we have produced over 30 world premieres and presented 100 visiting artists. We are proud to champion the merit of Latino performing arts at the local and national levels, and eager to continue doing so at our new home in The Bronx.
