Grados Inefables

NY PREMIERE • NPN Commission

Join us for the world premiere of Grados Inefables, a chamber music work for piano and string quartet by Pregones' resident composer Desmar Guevara, especially commissioned by Pregones for the March Is Music 2013 Series.

The work alludes to gradual pursuit of enlightenment and esoteric knowledge of Freemasonry.

"Masonry is a succession of allegories, the mere vehicles of great lessons in morality and philosophy. You will more fully appreciate its spirit, its object, its purposes, as you advance in the different Degrees, which you will find constitute a great, complete, and harmonious system." - Albert Pike.

The program also includes works by composers Carlos Maldonado and Francis Rodríguez
